  • December 22, 2003 -- SBS Expands Infiniband Product Line
    Albuquerque, NM, December 22, 2003. SBS Technologies has added two new products to its growing InfiniBand product line. A new 24-port robust low-latency InfiniBand switch contains independent 4x ports supporting bit rates of up to 10 Gb/s in each direction. The second product, a PCI-X host channel adapter (HCA), provides two 4x InfiniBand ports on a low-profile PCI form factor card.
  • December 22, 2003 -- Green Hills Software Drives Crew Escape System
    SANTA BARBARA, CA, December 23, 2003 . Lockheed Martin has selected the Green Hills' INTEGRITY-178B real-time operating system (RTOS) for the vehicle management and control system of the Pad Abort Demonstrator (PAD), an unmanned crew escape demonstration test bed supporting the development of the next manned spacecraft.
  • December 19, 2003 -- USAF to Launch Upgraded Lockheed Martin GPS Satellite
    CAPE CANAVERAL AIR FORCE STATION, Fla., December 18, 2003. The U.S. Air Force is preparing to launch an upgraded Global Positioning Systems (GPS) satellite built by Lockheed Martin aboard a Delta II rocket scheduled on December 21, from Cape Canaveral. The satellite, designated GPS IIR-10, features significant performance upgrades, including an advanced antenna panel, which will increase power for GPS receivers.

  • December 15, 2003 -- GD Awarded $2B For Combat Systems Vehicle Design
    STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich., December 16, 2003 ..General Dynamics Land Systems awarded a $2B contract by Boeing for engineering development and demonstration of a family of manned ground vehicles for the U.S. Army's Future Combat Systems (FCS) program. To date, General Dynamics has been awarded contracts valued at approximately $2.5B for FCS-related work.
