December 9, 2003

HUDSON, NH, December 9, 2003. The Defense Electronics Group of Micronetics booked a significant re-order for a microwave subsystem that will be used on commercial airlines to support in-flight satellite TV.

David Robbins, Micronetics' President and CEO said, "There is growing demand for these in-flight TV systems and we are happy to have moved from the engineering development into low rate of initial production. This order also shows how Micronetics is adapting its defense technology, in this case fighter plane technology, for use in the commercial marketplace."

Micronetics, operating through its Defense Electronics, Test Solutions and VCO Products Groups, manufactures microwave and radio frequency (RF) components and integrated subassemblies used in a variety of defense, aerospace and commercial applications. Micronetics also manufactures and designs test equipment and components that test the strength, durability and integrity of communication signals in communications equipment.
