Markland Technologies will build night vision sensors for Army

RIDGEFIELD, Conn., Oct. 28, 2004. Markland Technologies, Inc. announced today that the U.S. Army's Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate (NVESD) has awarded EOIR Technologies Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Markland, new contracts in the
amount of $2.4 million.

These new contract awards are part of an ongoing NVESD Omnibus contract. These funding awards are for EOIR to provide support services for multiple Sensors and Systems task delivery orders on the Omnibus contract. This will bring the total dollars awarded to EOIR on this NVESD Omnibus contract since July 1, 2004 to approximately $19.4 million. This Omnibus contract is a major source of EOIR Technologies Inc.
revenues.
