February 27, 2006

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., 27 Feb. 2006. Armor Holdings Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of security products and vehicle armor systems serving military, law enforcement, homeland security, and commercial markets, has received orders totaling approximately $80.1 million for production of M1114 Up-Armored HMMWVs, additional gunner protection kits, spare parts, and supplemental armor components which increase IED protection levels.

The Company stated that the new work is from modification to its existing multi-year contract with the U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command for purchase of vehicles and materials to be delivered to the U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, and U.S. Air Force. Production will be performed during 2006 at the Armor Holdings Aerospace and Defense Group facilities in Fairfield, Ohio.

Robert Schiller, president of Armor Holdings Inc., says, "This order increases backlog for 2006 deliveries to more than 8,000 Up-Armored HMMWVs combining M1114, M1151 and M1152 production which already exceeds our total 2005 deliveries of 7,188 vehicles."
