SYS Technologies selected by Navy SPAWAR to provide systems engineering support, analysis, and assessment

SAN DIEGO, Calif., 27 October 2006. The Defense Solutions Group of SYS Technologies, a provider of information connectivity solutions that enable real-time, complex decision-making, has been awarded an $11 million, five-year task order to support the Navy's Space and Naval Warfare System Command (SPAWAR).

SYS, the prime contractor on this contract, will provide systems engineering support, architecture reviews and assessments, requirements analysis, and system/capability-based assessment support. The assessments are expected to evaluate the Department of the Navy's warfighting capabilities and vulnerabilities.

SYS team members include American Systems Corporation; Booz, Allen, Hamilton; G2 Software Services; L-3 Communications; Lockheed Martin; Northrop Grumman; Ocean Systems Engineering Corporation; SAIC; Systems Technology Forum; and X-Feds.

SYS Technologies is a provider of information connectivity solutions that capture, analyze, and present real-time information to customers in the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, other government agencies, and to large industrial companies. Among its solutions are interoperable communications software, sensors, digital video broadcast and surveillance technologies, wireless networks, decision-support tools and Net-centric technologies.
