Ultralife Batteries receives $2.9 million in military battery orders

NEWARK, N.Y., 27 Dec. 2006. Ultralife Batteries Inc. has received orders for military batteries valued at approximately $2.9 million from an undisclosed military organization. Deliveries are expected to begin immediately and be completed this month.

"Many military organizations are rapidly recognizing the performance of our products," says John D. Kavazanjian, Ultralife's president and chief executive officer. "These orders underscore our ability to produce and deliver advanced batteries to serve demanding military applications."

Ultralife is a global provider of high-energy power solutions and communications accessories for diverse applications. The company develops, manufactures, and markets a wide range of non-rechargeable and rechargeable batteries, charging systems, and accessories including power supplies, amplifiers, amplified speakers, equipment mounts, case equipment, and integrated communication systems for markets including military, industrial and consumer portable electronics.
