Argon Electronics completes supply of ACADA SIM contract with US Army

January 22, 2007

LUTON, U.K., 22 Jan. 2007. Argon Electronics LLP has completed a substantial contract for supply of ACADAS instrumented simulation training systems for use by the U.S. Army Reserve and all 55 of the Weapons of Mass Destruction Civil Support Teams (WMD CSTs).

The contract, valued at more than $5 million, saw delivery of several hundred units between May 2005 and July 2006. While this contract represents the largest single order supply of this product to date, ACADAS has also been supplied to other U.S. services including the Air Force and Army.

ACADAS enables instructors to deliver comprehensive training in the correct use of individual or multiple M22 ACADA (Automatic Chemical Agent Detector and Alarm) systems without risk of harm to personnel, equipment, or the environment.
