Fuel Cell Industry Hosts Congressional Expo

May 9, 2007

Washington, 9 May 2007. Twenty-six organizations dedicated to the commercialization of fuel cell technologies will display cutting-edge power systems during the 2007 Congressional Fuel Cell Expo on May 15, 2007, in the Cannon Caucus Room of the Cannon House Office Building from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Companies will present solutions for a variety of portable, stationary, micro, and automotive applications.

The expo will feature two fuel cell vehicles available for a "Ride and Drive" from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. The vehicles will be located on New Jersey Ave. SE between C and D Streets.

The event is co-sponsored by the four founding members of the House Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Caucus: Congressmen Al Wynn (D-MD), John Larson (D-CT), Bob Inglis (R-SC), and Charles Dent (R-PA). Addressing the crowd will be Senator Byron Dorgan (D-ND), Congressman Zach Wamp (R-TN), and Congressman Lee Terry (R-NE).

The expo is free and open to the public. No pre-registration is required.

The expo is organized by the U.S. Fuel Cell Council, the trade association of the fuel-cell industry.
