August 25, 2007

BOTHELL, Wash., 25 Aug. 2007. AR Modular RF in Bothell, Wash., is introducing an RF power amplifier module that covers the VHF/UHF military communications band, from 30 to 512 MHz with a power output of 100 Watts 1 dB compression point continuous wave.

The Model KMW2025/M11 is for OEM or embedded high-reliability communications applications that need good intermodulation distortion and the ability to be gated on or off via a remote control line.

The module operates efficiently from 28 volts DC with an average current of eight amps. It is housed in a machined aluminum enclosure, and can be purchased with or without a heat sink.
