FAIRVIEW, Pa., 21 Oct. 2007.Spectrum Control Inc. in Fairview, Pa., is offering connectors for 60-volt audio frequency circuits that filter out electromagnetic interference (EMI). Spectrum engineers add EMI filtering to the connectors by modifying the devices with 0.5 amps of current.

The connectors are waterproof and polarized 5- or 6-pin electrical plugs and can be designed for special & selectively loaded EMI filtering in military and civilian communication applications where harsh conditions are present.

Spectrum's connectors have a capacitance value range of 10pF – 1mF and are available in C & Pi circuit configurations. They meet the requirements of MIL-STD-810F including sand & dust, salt, fog, high-altitude operation, fungus resistance, and immersion to 20 meters.
