Barco offers rugged display for extreme conditions aboard armored vehicles

PARIS, 17 June 2008. Barco in Duluth, Ga., is introducing the TX-243 display monitors for armored vehicles. The TX LCD monitor series offers rugged touch screen, NVIS capability, sunlight readability, and thermal management.

PARIS, 17 June 2008.Barco in Duluth, Ga., is introducing the TX-243 LCD monitor for armored vehicles. The TX LCD display series offers rugged touch screen, NVIS capability, sunlight readability, and thermal management.

Barco's TX-243 is 17-inch flat panel display offers low dimming and programmable bezel buttons, and is sealed with a thermal management system. The LCD monitors provide cold starts at -46 degrees Celsius, as well as operation at 71 C.

The TX series flat panel monitor has EMI/EMC resistance and meets common military specifications for severe environments such as humidity, sand, salt, dust, and fog. For more information contact Barco online at www.barco.com.
