Diodes Inc. closes business acquisition of Zetex plc

DALLAS, 16 June 2008. Diodes Inc. in Dallas, maker of discrete and analog semiconductor products, completed its acquisition of Zetex plc in Chadderton, England, in an all-cash deal.

DALLAS, 16 June 2008. Diodes Inc. in Dallas, maker of discrete and analog semiconductor products, completed its merger and acquisition of Zetex plc in Chadderton, England, in an all-cash deal.

The combined company will have combined 2007 revenue of $528 million; will move Diodes Inc. into the industrial and automotive markets; and will expand the company's wafer processing and packaging technologies, company officials say.

The business acquisition will close under the previously released terms by which each Zetex shareholder will receive 85.45 pence in cash per Zetex ordinary share, valuing the diluted share capital of Zetex at approximately $176 million.
