Tactical CommGear established to provide military tactical radio communications

February 26, 2009

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., 26 Feb. 2009. Leaders of Global Market Development Inc. in Holbrook, N.Y., are establishing Tactical CommGear Inc. (TCG), a subsidiary specializing in advanced audio engineering and tactical radio integration for high-risk military communications and law enforcement applications.

Global Market Development officials made the announcement this week at the Association of the U.S. Army (AUSA) Winter conference and trade show in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

The Tactical CommGear brand name offers lightweight military RF man-wearable headsets, handsets, microphones and controllers, tailored to the needs of unconventional combat operations and specialized law enforcement.

Components will be ergonomic and capable of performing under extreme weather conditions. Units will also be water submersible and in some cases waterproof. As part of the business model, TCG will also add a heavy element of vertical integration to the mix, allowing the company to serve more complex, mission specific requirements.

Anthony W. Mazzeo, president of Global Market Development will serve as the president and chief executive officer of TCG,

"Today's warfighter needs lightweight wearable components that are suited to the environments in which he operates," Mazzeo says. "The same is true of the first responder or the SWAT team member who has to rely on speed and agility to get the job done."

Tactical CommGear opened its doors in February. For more information, contact Tactical CommGear online at www.tacticalcommgear.com.
