CACI wins $900 million, multiple-award program with U.S. Strategic Command

April 28, 2009

ARLINGTON, Va., 28 April 2009. CACI International Inc. won a prime contract to support the multiple-award United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) Systems and Mission Support II (USAMS II) program. CACI won one of six prime awards. The USAMS II program has an estimated ceiling value of $900 million. The five-year, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity task order contract awarded to CACI has a one-year base and four one-year option periods.

This work expands CACI's development of its program management and systems engineering and technical assistance (PM SETA) support services functional core competency.

USSTRATCOM is one of 10 unified commands in the Department of Defense.

USAMS II is the vehicle USSTRATCOM will use to procure advisory and assistance services support for management and professional services; studies, analysis, and evaluations; and engineering and technical services, says a representative. This support includes all USSTRATCOM component commands, supporting and supported agencies, and the Air Force Weather Agency.
