Military battery charger from EaglePicher qualified for U.S. Air Force use

JOPLIN, Mo., 27 May 2009. EaglePicher Technologies LLC in Joplin, Mo., is introducing the ASD-965-1 military battery charger, which has been qualified for military power use through the U.S. Air Force with the U.S. Navy.

JOPLIN, Mo., 27 May 2009. EaglePicher Technologies LLC in Joplin, Mo., is introducing the ASD-965-1 military battery charger, which has been qualified for military power use through the U.S. Air Force with the U.S. Navy.

The ASD-965-1 military battery charger enables programmable pulse charging with power electronics coupled with conventional charging methods.

The military and aerospace battery charger has a long life expectancy, and has an upgradable modular design with off-the-shelf parts. The charger will service secondary battery chemistries, from single cells and emergency backup batteries to large format main batteries.
