Murata Power offers power inductor components that resist EMI

May 31, 2009

MANSFIELD, Mass., 31 May 2009. Power electronics specialist Murata Power Solutions in Mansfield, Mass., is introducing the 1200RS and 1200LRS series of inductors for providing power line filtering in low to medium current applications such as switching power supply circuits.

A ferrite shield makes them useful in designs that are susceptible to electromagnetic interference (EMI).

The through-hole, radial leaded devices have dimensions of 10.5 millimeters in diameter by 8.5 millimeters that support their inclusion in designs where printed circuit board space is limited.

=Operating temperature range of the 1200RS and LRS series is -40 to 85 degrees Celsius. The devices use UL 94V-0 approved materials, are RoHS compliant, and have backward compatibility with tin/lead soldering systems.
