PALM HARBOR, Fla., 1 June 2009. ITT Corp announced today that its Communications Systems' Advanced Technologies facility in Palm Harbor, Fla., received Trusted Accreditation by the Defense Microelectronics Activity (DMEA) as a microelectronics trusted source for the Department of Defense and all other U.S. Government users.

The Trusted Foundry Program, and the more broadly defined Trusted Integrated Circuit Supplier Program, combats risks and threats to the integrity of the integrated circuit supply chain and provides an assured supply of high integrity, secure microelectronics to the U.S. Government, ITT officials say.

With this accreditation, ITT offers the Department of Defense and other Government agencies the ability to have their system solutions developed using the company's design services.

"Customers throughout the defense and government community can now leverage our group's significant expertise in radio frequency, mixed signal and digital integrated circuit design."
