Military circuit card contract for Air Force aircraft and avionics goes to Honeywell

August 18, 2009

OGDEN, Utah, 18 Aug. 2009. U.S. Air Force aircraft and avionics maintenance specialists needed military circuit card assemblies for sustaining several military aircraft types at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. They found their military board solution from Honeywell Aerospace in Albuquerque, N.M.

Honeywell Aerospace won a maximum $25.34 million contract to provide aircraft and avionics circuit board assemblies for the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Procurement Operations Ogden at Hill Air Force Base.

DLA Ogden, which is part of the Defense Supply Center Richmond in Richmond, Va., provides contract support and depot-level maintenance of U.S. Air Force F-16 jet fighters; A-10 ground-attack jets; command, control, communications and intelligence (C3I) equipment; space systems; and the Minuteman intercontinental ballistic missile. DLA Ogden also manages depot-level reparable procurement operations at Hill AFB.

Work should be finished by August, 2014. For more information contact the Defense Supply Center Richmond online at www.dscr.dla.mil.
