Rugged military power supply module with 1,000 Watts output introduced by Martek Power

TORRANCE, Calif., 12 Aug. 2009. Martek Power in Torrance, Calif., is introducing an active power factor correction and harmonic attenuation power electronics module with 100 Watts of output power, a reliable commercial off the shelf military power supply for military power and aerospace power applications.

Intended for use with Martek Power's 100 Watt 270 volts DC input DC-DC converters, this rugged power supply front end rectifier provides a 100 Watts of output power from a universal single phase input from 85 to 265 volts AC.

Packaged in a five-sided continuous aluminum case with dimensions of only 2.4-by-2.3-by-0.5 inch, the power management electronics unit meets CE101 and CE102 of MIL-STD-461 for conducted EMI without requiring any external filtering. Meeting MIL-STD-704E, ABD0100.1.8.1 and MIL-STD1399, it also deliveries full performance over a wide, -40 to +100°C, operating temperature range, and boost efficiencies and power factor up to 93 percent and 0.99 respectively.

AC Good TTL signal, Isolated DC Good TTL signal, Over Temperature Protection, Over Output Protection, Output Short Circuit Protection, Remote On/Off are included has. Environmental screening is available.
