Video: SprayCool demonstrates 3U liquid cooled electronics enclosure in video presentation

August 5, 2009

LIBERTY LAKE, Wash., 5 Aug 2009. SprayCool Inc. in Liberty Lake, Wash., in collaboration with the PennWell Aerospace and Defense Media Group, is presenting a video showcase of the 3U form factor direct spray cooled rugged enclosure for armored vehicle vetronics, as well as for aircraft avionics in unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) and helicopters that require small, lightweight, low-power, and low-cost military embedded aerospace electronics.

This SprayCool video features the company's 3U liquid cooled enclosures.

The video, which was shot at the Avionics USA and Military & Aerospace Electronics Forum conference and trade show in June, features Joe Baddeley, executive vice president of business development at SprayCool. The video is online at mae.pennnet.com/video/military/video.cfm.

SprayCool enclosures are for mil-aero and ground vehicles, as well as for today's electronics warfare, command and control, and signal processing applications. Currently selected by Northrop Grumman, Sierra Nevada and others, the SprayCool MPE will be deployed several variants of Global Hawk, as well as Predator and Reaper unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as ground combat vehicles such as the Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle.

The MPE-3U featured in the video offers relatively low overall system cost compared to conduction or other liquid cooled electronics alternatives, and enables electronics flexibility, density and reliability in a 3U enclosure.

The MPE-3U weighs 18 pounds but is rugged enough to provide environmental isolation to commercial grade and rugged 3U cards. For more information contact SprayCool online at www.spraycool.com.
