Satellite electronics to be provided by contract manufacturer Sypris Electronics

TAMPA, Fla., 11 Sept. 2009. Electronics contract manufacturer Sypris Electronics LLC in Tampa, Fla., won contracts from prime defense contractors worth $5.5 million in follow-on orders to produce satellite electronics assemblies for several satellite systems.

Sypris Electronics works with some of the largest space prime contractors to provide electronics contract manufacturing services for important electronic assemblies for these high reliability applications.

"Sypris Electronics continues to expand the scope and capabilities of its space offerings in partnership with prime contractors for commercial and government satellite systems," says John Walsh, president of Sypris Electronics.
