TORRANCE, Calif., 27 October 2010. Pelican Products Inc.’s Advanced Area Lighting Group is demonstrating its 9430SL (Spot Light) Remote Area Lighting System (RALS), a spot light version of the company’s compact and portable 9430 RALS.

The 9430SL features an LED array designed with a tightly focused, 10-degree spot light that illuminates hundreds of yards. With 24 next-generation LEDs and a dual power mode (with waterproof switch), it beams 2,000 lumens in high and 1,000 lumens in low. Powered by a self-contained, maintenance-free, rechargeable battery, the system offers up to 8 hours of peak brightness with 15 hours of total run-time.

Built with versatility in mind, the system features a 360-degree swiveling telescope mast that extends to nearly 3 feet and a wide-area handle for easy gloved grip and transport. With an extremely durable, water-resistant, polymer construction the 9430SL (Spot Light) is available in black and has an MSRP of $849.95.

Also available is the 9430IR with infrared light output for use with night-vision systems and the 9430 RALS for all-purpose, darkness-destroying, area lighting.
