Wahl Instruments Inc. in Asheville, N.C., is introducing the Heat Spy HSI3000B thermal imaging camera for inspecting buildings or other large structures for fire safety and detection of any hot spots of interest. The thermal camera has a temperature sensitivity of 0.05 degrees Celsius and a screen resolution of 160 by 120 pixels.
This thermal camera for buildings has a temperature range of -20 to 125 degrees Celsius and a rechargeable battery life of six hours. The handheld electro-opticalinfrared sensor features an auto on-screen temperature lock to the highest and coolest points in the image being analyzed.
The thermal camera also can save as many as 1,000 high quality digital images on the provided SD card. Analyze and present images using the report writing software package, also included with the camera.
Standard accessories are: Easy Report and Report Writer software CD, rechargeable battery, AC adaptor, car charger, magnifying sun shade, USB cable, rubber boot, rugged carrying case, wrist strap, SD card, and SD card reader.
