AUCKLAND, New Zealand, 22 Dec. 2010. Rakon Ltd. in Auckland, New Zealand, is introducing the RFPT200 7-by-5-millimeter SMD digitally controlled temperature controlled crystal oscillator (DCTCXO) to make the most of battery life and minimize the electronic signatures of military equipment. The RFPT200 brings together TCXO frequency stability, digital frequency control, separate low frequency output, timer, and alarm functionality, Rakon officials say.

AUCKLAND, New Zealand, 22 Dec. 2010. Rakon Ltd. in Auckland, New Zealand, is introducing the RFPT200 7-by-5-millimeter standard microcircuit drawing (SMD)digitally controlled temperature controlled crystal oscillator (DCTCXO) to make the most of battery life and minimize the electronic signatures of military equipment. The RFPT200 brings together TCXO frequency stability, digital frequency control, separate low frequency output, timer, and alarm functionality, Rakon officials say.

The RF and microwave device is for applications ranging from voice communications through to sophisticated battlefield data exchange systems. It helps maintain accurate system timing while ensuring data integrity and system reliability.

The RFPT200 uses advanced patented Pluto TCXO technology. In addition, it includes an onboard programmable timer and an alarm function to switch other system circuitry to conserve energy when not in use.
