Elbit to supply multisensor monitoring and surveillance systems for Polish combat vehicles in $16 million contract

HAIFA, Israel, 29 Dec. 2010. Elbit Systems Ltd. in Haifa, Israel, will supply the Polish Ministry of National Defence in Warsaw, Poland, with mobile multisensor monitoring and surveillance systems under terms of a $16 million contract, Elbit officials announced. A consortium of Elbit Systems Land and C4I-Tadiran and the Polish Military Communication Institute in Warsaw, Poland, will provide a variety of sensors to be deployed onboard a ROSOMAK 8X8 armored combat vehicle.

HAIFA, Israel, 29 Dec. 2010. Elbit Systems Ltd. in Haifa, Israel, will supply the Polish Ministry of National Defence in Warsaw, Poland, with mobile multisensor monitoring and surveillance systems under terms of a $16 million contract, Elbit officials announced.

A consortium of Elbit Systems Land and C4I-Tadiran and the Polish Military Communication Institute in Warsaw, Poland, will provide a variety of sensors to be deployed onboard a ROSOMAK 8X8 armored combat vehicle.

The project should be finished in the next year, Elbit officials say. The vetronics systems onboard the Polish armored vehicle will be composed of a variety of visual payloads, TV, thermal vision systems, motion detection battlefield surveillance radar unit, encrypted communications systems, as well as an unmanned aircraft system (UAS) system, Elbit officials say.
