  • December 5, 2011 -- Elbit Systems won $38.5 million to upgrade U.S. Air Force Block 30, Block 50 F-16 aircraft wide angle conventional head-up displays
    HAIFA, Israel, 5 Dec. 2011. Engineers at Elbit Systems of America LLC, the U.S. subsidiary of Elbit Systems Ltd. (NASDAQ:ESLT), are manufacturing Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) Electronic Module Assemblies (EMA) for all U.S. Air Force Block 30 and Block 50 F-16 wide-angle conventional (WAC) heads-up displays (HUDs). The five-year, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract from the Defense Logistics Agency-Ogden is valued at up to $38.5 million.
  • December 1, 2011 -- BAE receives $21 million contract to restore HMS Victory
    PORTSMOUTH, United Kingdom, Dec. 1, 2011. HMS Victory, the oldest commissioned warship in the world, will undergo an extensive restoration at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard as part of a $21 million contract with BAE Systems.Helping to preserve the vessel for the next 10 years and beyond, this new contract will see the iconic ship being overhauled from the tip of her masts, right down to the cradle in which she rests in dry dock.

    BUFFALO, N.Y., Dec. 1, 2011. Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) today announced the delivery of Combat Electromagnetic Environment Simulator (CEESIM) systems and a Signal Measurement System (SMS) to Aselsan, the Turkish high technology defense electronics company based in Ankara.
  • December 1, 2011 -- U.S. Congressional and State Dept. approves Raytheon $1.7 billion Patriot contract with Saudi Arabia
    TEWKSBURY, Mass., 1 Dec. 2011. U.S. Congressional and State Department officials have approved a $1.7 billion direct commercial sales contract won by Raytheon Company (NYSE:RTN) to upgrade the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Patriot Air and Missile Defense System. The upgrade to Configuration-3 incorporates ground-system hardware, a full training package, support equipment upgrades, and an interoperability capability to support potential coalition operations.
  • November 30, 2011 -- General Dynamics reveives $10 million to upgrade vehicles
    STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. Nov. 30, 2011. General Dynamics Land Systems, a business unit of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), has been awarded a $9.9 million contract to upgrade military vehicles for the U.S. Army. The contract was awarded by the Army Contracting Command in Warren, Mich.
