  • June 21, 2011 -- Airbus sells 121 aircraft Tuesday at the Paris Air Show, bringing its total show sales to 265
    PARIS, 21 June 2011. European passenger jet manufacturer Airbus of Toulouse, France, had a big day for aircraft sales today at the Paris Air Show in Le Bourget, France, inking deals for 121 passenger jets with four different airline and aviation companies, which by rough count brings total Airbus airplane sales during the first two days of the Paris Air Show to 231. Airbus, a division of European aerospace giant EADS, sold 144 aircraft on Monday and 121 aircraft so far today.
  • June 21, 2011 -- Sikorsky to sell two S-70B ASW and maritime patrol helicopters to Brazil under foreign military sales
    PARIS, 21 June 2011. The Brazilian navy plans to buy two more U.S.-built S-70B military helicopters from Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. in Stratford, Conn., through the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) foreign military sales program. Brazilian naval leaders bought four S-70B maritime patrol and anti-submarine-warfare (ASW) helicopters from Sikorsky in 2010. Sikorsky made the announcement this week at the 2011 Paris Air Show in Le Bourget, France.
  • June 21, 2011 -- Boeing aircraft sales roll along at Paris Air Show, with latest total at 102 aircraft -- 45 of them widebodies
    PARIS, 21 June 2011. Aircraft sales for the Boeing Co. Commercial Airplanes segment in Seattle continued rolling along today at the 2011 Paris Air Show in Le Bourget, France. Boeing closed deals for 10 advanced 737-800 narrow-body passenger jetliners, two 747-8 jumbo jet freighter aircraft, and eight 777-300ER long-range jumbo twinjet aircraft. These deals, by rough count, bring total Boeing aircraft sales at Paris to 102 -- 45 of them widebodies.
  • June 21, 2011 -- New Thales single-display cockpit concept showcased at Paris Air Show
    PARIS AIR SHOW BLOG, 21 June 2011. Thales officials unveiled a cockpit design with only one touch-screen display that takes up the entire flight deck and is intuitive like an iPad or iPhone. Company officials demonstrated the display this week at the Paris Air Show.
  • June 21, 2011 -- Boeing inks deals to sell 26 more passenger jetliners, finalizes sale of three 787 Dreamliners
    PARIS, 21 June 2011. Officials of the Boeing Co. Commercial Airplanes segment in Seattle have announced sales of 26 more passenger jetliners to airlines throughout the world, bringing the company's total aircraft sales so far at the 2011 Paris Air Show in Le Bourget, France, to 82 jetliners -- 35 of them widebodies. Boeing late yesterday and today announces passenger aircraft sales to MIAT Mongolian Airlines, Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA, and Aeroflot Russian Airlines.
