ITT Interconnect Solutions in Santa Ana, Calif., is introducing a 3D modeling tool that includes the Trinity MKJ series miniature circular military connectors for military, aerospace, industrial, and medical applications. The interactive 3D modeling site can help design engineers test different connectors in prototype designs.Coupling mechanisms include threaded, breakaway, or bayonet, with ITT’s proprietary Pogo Pin sprung contact technology also available. The MKJ0 connector is for applications where space and weight are a concern, while MJK1 connectors cope with harsh shock and vibration environments.MJK4 interconnects feature quick push/pull mating and unmating for fast breakaway disconnection. MKJ series connectors are available with aluminum alloy or corrosion-resistant steel shells and backnuts.
