ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill., 19 April 2011. Panasonic Industrial Co. in Rolling Meadows, Ill., is introducing the CGR18650CH high-rate lithium-ion battery cell for memory storage, backup power, hand-held tools, and medical equipment, and other multi-cell applications.
The nickel-manganese cathode material of the power electronics battery cell provides discharge rate of as much as 10 amps; nominal capacity of 2,250 milliampere-hours (mAH); high energy density and voltage; wide operating temperature range; and long cycle life.
