UltraVolt to offer 5- and 10-volt high-voltage power supplies for pulsed power and laser applications

RONKONKOMA, N.Y., 6 July 2011. UltraVolt Inc. in Ronkonkoma, N.Y., is introducing -I5 and the -I10 options to the company's high-voltage power supply line. The -I5 and -I10 Options are available today on the UltraVolt AA series and High Power C series, yet in the future will be available on other UltraVolt product lines. The interfaces are for connecting the high-voltage power system to computers and programmable logic controllers (PLC) that run 0 to 5-volt DC and 10-volt DC signals and controls.

Applications of these power electronics devices include bias supplies, detectors, piezo actuators, amplifiers, photomultiplier tubes (PMT), lasers, cap-chargers, pulsed power, pulse generators, test equipment, high pot testers, automated test equipment (ATE), and electrostatic precipitators.
