AAI Unmanned Aircraft Systems, AME Unmanned Systems form strategic alliance to jointly develop unmanned technology

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif., 27 Aug. 2011. AME Unmanned Systems, a ChandlerMay Inc. company, and AAI Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), an operating unit of Textron Systems, a Textron Inc. company, have entered into a strategic alliance agreement to develop unmanned systems. Personnel at both companies will work together to provide a comprehensive UAS offering for U.S. and international customers, exploring solutions for electronic warfare and other special missions. The companies’ officials also intend to work together on integration of AME's Fury UAS with AAI's UAS launcher and ground control products.
