Haigh-Farr pioneered the wraparound antenna for aircraft, missile, and spacecraft communications, and makes application specific antennas for challenging communications conditions. The transaction is subject to the approval from the U.S. Committee on Foreign Investment, which Vitec officials say they expect by the end of November.

Haigh-Farr will operate as a standalone business in Vitec's Videocom Division, and will complement Vitec-owned Integrated Microwave Technologies LLC in Mt. Olive, N.J., Vitec officials say.
