Grayhill Inc. receives AS9100C certification

LAGRANGE, Ill. Dec. 29, 2011. Grayhill Inc. announced its certification to SAE AS9100 Revision C Quality Management System (QMS) for aviation, space and defense organizations. Certification to this standard demonstrates Grayhill's commitment to continuous improvement in product quality and delivery performance. With this announcement, Grayhill maintains its position as a leading supplier of human interface solutions to defense industry prime contractors.

The AS9100 quality standard is based on ISO 9001, adding stringent requirements specific to the aviation, space and defense industry. Among other changes, revision C brings the standard in line with ISO9001:2008 and expands the scope of coverage to include land and sea based systems for defense applications.

The certification encompasses both United States manufacturing locations in La Grange, Ill. and Carpentersville, Ill. Grayhill facilities are now registered in the Online Aerospace Supplier Information System (OASIS). The company's OASIS Identification Numbers (OIN) are 6132368821 and 6133550764.

The certifying body, Bureau Veritas, completed the AS9100 audit to Revision C in October of 2011. Bureau Veritas awarded the certificate in December after final ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB) review.
