SANTA CLARA, Calif., 4 March 2012. Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) in Santa Clara, Calif., is introducing four 1-GHz oscilloscopes to the company's line of InfiniiVision 3000 X-Series models for relatively high-bandwidth bench scope test and measurement applications.

With these new models, Agilent announced the 1-GHz N2795A active probe designed to match the performance of the 3000 X-Series oscilloscopes without the impedance trade-offs of a passive approach.

The 2000 and 3000 X-Series offer the option of a three-digit voltmeter (DVM) and five-digit counter that operate through the same probes as the oscilloscope channels. These measurements are decoupled from the oscilloscope triggering system to enable engineers to make DVM and triggered oscilloscope measurements with the same connection.
