MARLBOROUGH, Mass., 10 March, 2012. Raytheon Co. (NYSE: RTN) has been chosen to provide engineering, technical and depot services in support of 15 Air Traffic, Navigation, Integration, and Coordination Systems (ATNAVICS) for the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) and U.S. Marine Corps.
Raytheon's ATNAVICS is a mobile system that provides air traffic services for the deployment of troops and equipment to remote locations where no operational airport control and landing system exists. It can be set up in under an hour with four people.

Raytheon will provide engineering changes, field and maintenance support, depot requirements and system refurbishment under a previous agreement recently extended by two years.
In addition, the work will include fault isolation, assembly, disassembly, fabrication, refurbishment, upgrading, purchasing of parts, components, assemblies and materials, and fleet support activities to restore the systems.
The work will be performed in Marlborough, Mass.; Largo, Fla.; and St. Inigoes, Md., and is expected to be completed in February 2013. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is handling the contracting activity.
