ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill., 11 June 2012. Panasonic has unveiled its Direct Methanol Fuel Cell, a cell that uses methanol fuel and oxygen in the air to generate electricity. The fuel cell is well suited to mobile product applications and use as portable generators.
The fuel cells offer: clean and safe exhaust gas, quiet and virtually no vibration, automatic and non-stop operation, and low CO2 emission.
“These fuel cells offer many features and benefits compared to traditional generators,” says Bob Rauh, director of Panasonic’s Energy Sales Division, Battery Sales Group. “Their production is a testimony to our ongoing dedication to supplying our customers the highest quality and broadest line of battery technologies.”
