DCS Corp acquires Infoscitex Corp., expands advanced technology, product development service offerings

ALEXANDRIA, Va., 10 Sept. 2012. DCS Corp has completed its acquisition of Infoscitex Corp. (IST), thereby expanding its service offerings in modeling, simulation, and analysis, human biodynamics research, advanced manned and unmanned air vehicle systems, material science solutions, software development, and cyber-domain techniques.

ALEXANDRIA, Va., 10 Sept. 2012. DCS Corp has completed its acquisition of Infoscitex Corp. (IST), thereby expanding its service offerings in modeling, simulation, and analysis, human biodynamics research, advanced manned and unmanned air vehicle systems, material science solutions, software development, and cyber-domain techniques.

"The completion of the IST transaction constitutes an exciting and significant step toward furthering DCS's ability to provide broad, technically superior solutions to customers in the Department of Defense (DOD) and intelligence community," says James T. Wood, DCS chairman and chief executive officer.

IST employs roughly 150 employees with principal offices in Waltham, Mass., and Dayton, Ohio. IST is now a wholly owned subsidiary of DCS.
