ANAHEIM, Calif., 24 Jan. 2013. Extron Electronics in Anaheim, Calif., is introducing the TLM 100T tabletop enclosure for use with 2nd, 3rd, and nth generation iPad tablet computers for professional audio-visual (AV) applications.

The TLM 100T allows access to key iPad functions and has several features for high-traffic areas where an iPad is being used as a presentation video source.

When locked in with the included security fasteners, the iPad is safeguarded against theft. The discrete cable management system helps route iPad adapters and charging cables through the adjustable and removable base.

"While wireless control allows freedom to move from room to room, there are many scenarios where an iPad needs to remain in a fixed location as part of an integrated control solution," explains Casey Hall, vice president of sales and marketing at Extron.

The base of the TLM 100T allows for 45 degrees of tilt and can be paired with an optional Extron SMA-1 swivel mount adapter.
