FORT MYERS, Fla., 4 Feb. 2013. Crystek Corp. in Fort Myers, Fla., is introducing the CVCO55CXT-4812-4812 coaxial resonator oscillator (CRO) for applications such as digital radio equipment, fixed wireless access, satellite communications (SATCOM) systems, and base stations.
The CVCO55CXT-4812-4812 is a coaxial-based VCO RF and microwave device with an internal proprietary frequency doubler. The device's frequency doubling 2X fundamental technology offers low phase noise and low harmonics, while achieving low current consumption, company officials say.
The CVCO55CXT-4812-4812 operates at 4,812 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0.3 volts DC to 4.7 volts DC, and features a typical phase noise of -102 dBc/Hz at 10 KHz offset and has good linearity.
The CVCO55CXT-4812-4812 CRO exhibits an output power of 3 dBm typ. into a 50 ohm load with a supply of +5.0 volts DC and a current consumption of 25 mA (max.).
