WALLINGFORD, Conn., 28 July 2013. Times Microwave Systems in Wallingford, Conn., is introducing the TC-600-TM-RA-D TNC-male rimp right-angle connector for LMR-600 cable.
The RF and microwave connector is for aerospace and defense applications, as well as a wide variety of other applications that must operate in harsh environmental conditions.
The TC-600-TM-RA-D connector has tri-metal plating microwave technology instead of silver; dual hex/knurl coupling nut; chamfered cable entry hole for ease of termination; ridged landing area on the aft end for better grip and sealing of the heat shrink boot; improved impedance matching for low VSWR; brazed right angle joint and O-ring on the solder access cap to help seal out moisture; and cable that can be stripped using the standard CST-600 prep tool.
