FREMONT, Calif., 29 Aug. 2014. BiTMICRO Networks Inc. in Fremont, Calif., is introducing the MAXioTM E-series PCI Express solid state drive (SSD) for video-on-demand, video streaming, online transaction processing, non-linear editing, gaming, file servers, web applications and cloud services.
FREMONT, Calif., 29 Aug. 2014. BiTMICRO Networks Inc. in Fremont, Calif., is introducing the MAXioTM E-series PCI Express solid state drive (SSD) for video-on-demand, video streaming, online transaction processing, non-linear editing, gaming, file servers, web applications and cloud services.

The drives are powered by BiTMICRO's Talino ASIC architecture and deliver capacity, performance and reliability for companies that need to support high-volume application workloads, BiTMICRO officials say.

The drives incorporate a split-ASIC architecture and offer data storage capacities are from 1.5 to 6 terabytes. MAXio SSD's flash controller optimizes flash, performance, and scalability.

The usable life of MAXio SSDs, with dynamic wear leveling managing the usability of the drive's flash chips, is as long as five years. Drivelight management software enables users to change drive settings.
