ASHBURN, Va., 1 Dec. 2014. The Curtiss-Wright Corp. Defense Solutions division in Ashburn, Va., is introducing the Hybricon DT-CC six-slot high-power conduction-cooled rack mount OpenVPX embedded computing chassis for military and commercial and military systems development.

The electronics enclosure provides a low slot-count solution for aerospace and defense system developers that require a rack-mounted OpenVPX subsystem for lab development, ground fixed, and transit case applications.

Designed to support modules rated at to 150 Watts per slot, the DT-CC has high performance fans and ensures cooler temperatures than 55 degrees Celsius at the chassis level, and 25 C conduction rail temperatures.

It is optionally available configured with a Curtiss-Wright Fabric40 Gen 3 OpenVPX backplane rated for 10.3 gigabit-per-second data transfers.
