CHANDLER, Ariz., 10 April 2015. The Crane Aerospace & Electronics Microwave Solutions segment in Chandler, Ariz., is introducing the 8-way Ku-band iso-divider RF and microwave unit for space applications.

The unit combines the functions of high performance power dividers with ferrite isolators to provide a high isolation power divider solution, making the external isolators redundant, for satellite receiver applications.

Integrating the two functions into one package enhances product reliability due to fewer external components, interconnects, and switchs, Crane officials say.

Additionally, marrying the power divider and isolators in the same package care matches and improves the performance of the integrated unit. Size and weight of the product are considerably less than an equivalent discrete assembly, company officials say.
