DARPA to conduct technology briefings next month on initiatives in EW, BMC2, ISR, and communications

ARLINGTON, Va., 22 June 2015. U.S. military researchers will conduct industry technology briefings next month on projects involving battle management, communications, electronic warfare (EW), surveillance, and undersea warfare.
ARLINGTON, Va., 22 June 2015. U.S. military researchers will conduct industry technology briefings next month on projects involving battle management, communications, electronic warfare (EW), surveillance, and undersea warfare.

Officials of the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) in Arlington, Va., will conduct the meetings July 28 and 29 at the DARPA conference center, 675 N. Randolph St., in Arlington, Va. Briefings focus on the DARPA Strategic Technologies Office (STO).

The meeting will present STO’s progress and future strategy for program development and describe its areas of interest in system of systems for maritime and air domains; battle management; command and control (BMC2); communications and networks; electronic warfare; intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR); positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT); and undersea.

The event will be conducted at the secret collateral security level. All participants will require a secret personnel security clearance. Participants can schedule private meetings with DARPA program managers during the two-day briefing.
