CINCINNATI, 16 Oct. 2015. Foster Transformer Co. in Cincinnati is introducing the model 14359 UL/C-UL-listed class 2 transformer for outdoor environments and industrial power electronics applications.

The power electronics device accepts line voltages of 120, 208, 240, and 480 volts, 50/60 Hz for low-voltage-control applications. Its integral wiring compartment simplifies field installations, and is encapsulated with a UL 94VO flame retardant epoxy, and housed in a 304 Stainless Steel enclosure.

The transformer resists the effects of dirt, moisture, and corrosive elements, and its integral wiring compartment is designed with half-inch conduit knockouts on either side. The position of 4-amp circuit breaker is reversible for access following installation.
