9U and 12U instrument cases for aerospace and defense applications introduced by Pixus

WATERLOO, Ontario, 11 Jan. 2016. Pixus Technologies in Waterloo, Ontario, is introducing Rittal brand RiPac instrument cases in 9U and 12U sizes for aerospace and defense applications.

These larger sized RiPac electronics enclosures come in 19-inch width format and depths to 21.25 inches.

The RiPac model instrumentation cases feature rounded corners, aesthetic panel and color palettes, and a range of accessories. The modular design of the enclosures allow ease of customization for sizes and mounting inside the case.

Vented top and bottom covers are optional. Pixus offers customization services including silk-screening, custom cut-outs, and specialized doors.

Pixus offers other RiPac and Vario model instrumentation cases in 1U to 8U heights. The company also provides enclosures and components in Eurocard and other formats for backplane architectures such as OpenVPX, AdvancedTCA, MicroTCA, CompactPCI, and VME64x.
