WOODSTOCK, N.Y., 28 March 2016. AMETEK Rotron Inc. in Woodstock, N.Y., is introducing a high-output version of its MIL-XTM Tubeaxial electronics cooling fan that is optimized for heat sink and heat exchanger thermal management applications in harsh military, aerospace, and industrial environments.

The long-life fan delivers 450 cubic feet of air per minute at 1 inch of water gauge pressure or 350 cubic feet of air per minute at 2 inches of water gauge pressure.

The fan can cool electronic devices and equipment racks in mission- and personnel-critical airborne, land-based, and seaborne applications. Several fans can stack to meet high-flow requirements.

The fan has advanced composite propeller material, shock-proof construction that meets Mil-S-901, reverse polarity protection, and over-voltage protection.
