COM Express embedded computing module for cyber security introduced by WIN Enterprises

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass., 23 June 2016. WIN Enterprises Inc. in North Andover, Mass., is introducing the MB-73450 COM Express embedded computing module for cyber security applications like security key handling, encryption and de-encryption, managing network traffic, and virus protection.

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass., 23 June 2016. WIN Enterprises Inc. in North Andover, Mass., is introducing the MB-73450 COM Express embedded computing module for cyber security applications like security key handling, encryption and de-encryption, managing network traffic, and virus protection.

The modules have Type 6 pin-outs, and support dual- and quad-core system-on-chip processors like the Intel Celeron and Pentium N3000, Intel Atom quad-core x5-E8000.

The modules have as much as 8 gigabytes non-ECC Dual channel DDR3L; two DDI channels, one LVDS, as many as 3 independent displays; Gigabit Ethernet, 2x SATA 6 gigabits per second, 4x USB 3.0 and 8x USB 2.0; 5 PCI Express x1 (Gen2); Supports TPM 1.2/2.0; power inputs from 8.5 to 20 volts; and optional operating temperatures from 40 to 85 degrees Celsius.

The MB-73450 is a swappable processing solution for product upgrades while maintaining the use of an existing carrier board. The module offers increased performance at low investment while extending product life by as much as seven years.

The module offers as much as 8 gigabytes DDR3L memory. Its expansion interface supports five PCI Express X1 slots. In addition, it supports three independent displays and the Intel HD Audio Interface.
