Rugged PICMG 1.3 single-board computer for industrial automation introduced by ADLINK

SAN JOSE, Calif., 12 July 2016. ADLINK Technology Inc. in San Jose, Calif., is introducing the rugged NuPRO-E43 PICMG 1.3 full-size single-board computer for industrial automation operation in critical embedded computing conditions.

SAN JOSE, Calif., 12 July 2016. ADLINK Technology Inc. in San Jose, Calif., is introducing the rugged NuPRO-E43 PICMG 1.3 full-size single-board computer for industrial automation operation in critical embedded computing conditions.

The computer board supports 6th Gen Intel Core i7/i5/i3 Skylake processors based on the Intel Q170 Express chipset It has dedicated high-bandwidth PCI Express x16 Gen 3, rugged I/O, and SEMA API protection key.

ADLINK's NuPRO-E43 offers support for DMI Gen3 for 8-gigatransfer-per-second system bus and as much as 32 gigabytes of DDR4. It has accelerated HW codecs with Ultra HD 4K display support, and native PCI Express Gen3 expandability for high-speed graphics cards in simultaneous complex motion and vision processes.

When combined with WBP-13E4 backplane, one PCI Express x16 expansion slot can be configured as one PCI Express x8 and two PCI Express x4 Gen 3 slots for frame grabbers, digitizers, and high-resolution dynamic signal acquisition and generation modules.
