Thermocouple simulator for aerospace and defense test and measurement introduced by Highland
SAN FRANCISCO, 6 July 2016. Highland Technology Inc. in San Francisco is introducing the P470 eight-channel benchtop thermocouple simulator for aerospace and defense test and measurement applications.
The thermocouple simulator is part of the company's line of USB and Ethernet-connected benchtop modules. It features eight isolated channels, each capable of simulating J K E T R S B and N thermocouple types, or outputing voltage in a range of ±100 millivolts with 20-bits of resolution. It also can simulate an open thermocouple.
Two precision external RTD signal conditioners plus one internal RTD are provided for reference junction temperature sensing. Its built-in self-test feature enables the user to quickly verify the function of the module.

Additionally, any channel may be rerouted to the front-panel cal-check connector, making remote calibration check easy. Optional mounting accessories allow the unit to be easily installed on a DIN rail or in a server rack.
